Enhanced Aerobic Bioremediation

The application of enhanced aerobic groundwater bioremediation technologies is most known to be implemented at petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated sites (BTEX, TPH, etc.). Nevertheles, they can be easily implemented in the case of other contaminant types as well. We are able to support the application of this type of remediation strategy by offering state-of-the-art technologies such as the iSOC passive gas infusion system, the BioFlo active remediation system, the gPRO gas delivery system, or the TersOx inorganic peroxide.

iSOC Passive Gas inFusion System

iSOC passzív gáz-infúziós rendszer

iSOC®, in situ Submerged Oxygen Curtain, is an oxygen delivery technology that when suspended in existing monitoring wells infuses high levels of oxygen into groundwater. The proprietary structured polymer used in iSOC® contains hydrophobic microporous hollow fiber. These fibers provide approximately 7,000 square feet of interface area per cubic feet of fiber for the mass transfer of oxygen into groundwater.

gPRO Gas Delivery Technology

gPRO® (Groundwater Pressurized Remediation Optimizer) is a gas delivery technology capable of infusing high amounts of dissolved gas into liquids under pressure. The gPRO® systems are based on inVentures Technologies' patented structured polymer Gas inFusion technology. Infusion is accomplished without additives such as hydrogen peroxide, ozone or other agents with potentially harmful side effects. Moreover, the total gas pressure in the water remains constant as gas is infused.

BioFloâ„¢ Active Remediation System

BioFlo aktív remediációs rendszer

BioFloâ„¢ is an innovative design to create a reactive bio-barrier in areas of limited groundwater flow. It creates a low flow stream of highly gaseous supersaturated water that can be used by itself or in conjunction with a small water recovery system to create a unique mini pump and treat system. The system can saturate the water with any combination of gases for aerobic, anaerobic or cometabolic bioremediation.

TersOxâ„¢ Inorganic Peroxygen

TersOxâ„¢ is a specially formulated calcium hydroxide that produces a controlled-release of molecular oxygen designed to assist in the aerobic bioremediation of hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater. TersOxâ„¢ stimulates natural degradation of petroleum hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX). This is not a chemical oxidation product.
