conductivity. Retrieve calibration history with a push of a button or easily
calibrate your ceramic CTD-Divers by simply placing the CTD-Diver in a standard
(lab) calibration solution. Effortless Barometric
Compensation |
All Diver dataloggers measure groundwater level with a highly accurate absolute
pressure sensor. Diver-Office can quickly subtract atmospheric pressure
measurements obtained with Baro-Divers to accurately compensate for air pressure
variations. Baro-Diver data can be downloaded and easily assigned to any
location for barometric compensation. Water levels can be compensated and
expressed in the following three ways:
- The height of the water column above the Diver
- With respect to the top of well casing (ToC)
- With respect to a vertical reference datum

three convenient predefined pumping tests for Divers that support this
feature, e.g., TD-Diver, Cera-Diver and Micro-Diver
- User Defined Pumping Tests (Cera-Diver and
Micro-Diver only) - If none of the predefined pumping tests are
suitable, you can define and select your own customized pumping test
sampling method
Altitude |
| For TD- and CTD-Divers only, you can enter a value for the altitude
above sea level of the location of the Diver within the range of - 300 m
to 3,000 m (-984 ft to 9,842 ft)
Conductivity Range |
| For CTD-Diver DI-263, two additional fields will appear in the Location
settings when the Diver settings are read. For the Conductivity Range,
choose between 80.00 or 30.00 mS/cm. System

Connecting to Diver-NETZ |
| Diver-Pocket allows you to read and program Divers from a remote
location in the field, using
Diver-NETZ wireless connection. A Diver-DXD dongle must be connected
to your PocketPC and a Diver-DXT cable must be attached to each Diver to
use the wireless connection.
Reading and Programming Divers |
| Use Diver-Pocket for reading and viewing Diver data. Diver-Pocket
Manager allows you to adjust critical settings: location, sample method,
sample rate, and altitude. Location |
| Assign unique names for each Diver location. The Diver location works
as an identifier used as part of the filename for exporting data Sample Method
and Sample Rate
|
- Fixed - A fixed sample method will acquire and
store data at regular time intervals.
- Event-based – Let Divers automatically compare
each sample to the last stored sample and calculate a difference. A
new sample is only stored when the difference exceeds a specified
percentage from the last stored sample
- Pumping Tests – Available for Divers that support
this feature. Diver-Pocket includes three convenient predefined
pumping tests. You can also define and program your own pumping tests
in a few steps.

Diver Smart Future Start (SFS) |
| The Smart Future Start option provides optimal use of Diver memory,
download speeds and data management. Simply synchronize the SFS feature
with the PocketPC clock by checking the Sync Clock box. The SFS option
is a useful tool in situations where you want to stop the Diver,
download its data, and then continue collecting data at the specified
sample interval. This option allows you to download data in continuous
segments, while maintaining a consistent sample interval.
Managing Diver Data |
| Every Diver download is saved to the database as a time series and
backup of the data is stored on the PocketPC. View a plot of the time
series you just downloaded on your PocketPC. Select one or several time
series and export the time series to the desired format (CSV or MON).
Transferring data to a PC |
| You can easily transfer data from the PocketPC to your PC by simply
connecting the PocketPC and using Microsoft ActiveSync.
CTD-Diver Calibration |
| Ensure accuracy and reliability. Diver-Pocket features the ability to

Reading Unit |
|
When the Diver is installed in the monitoring well by means of
steel wire, the measured data can be readout on a PC, laptop or PocketPC
with a Reading Unit equipped with a USB output. The dedicated software
can also be used to program the Diver in the field or in the office. For
reading and/or programming purposes, the mounting cap is removed from the Diver
and the datalogger is placed in the Reading Unit. Subsequently the
stored data can be readout and if necessary the Diver can be re-programmed.

Data Cable |
|
For optimized usability the Diver Data Cable (DDC) can be used.
This makes it possible to read or program the Diver at the top of the
monitoring well without withdrawing the instrument. The DDC is compatible with
all Diver models and is available in several lengths up to 300 metres. In
order to readout the Diver, a PC, laptop or PocketPC is connected to the
DDC by an interface cable. The stored data can then be readout and if
necessary the Diver can be re-programmed.
